We very rarely cancel walks because of the weather.

Cancellation only occurs if:

• The wind is more than 17 m/sec (mean wind) measured at the top of the bridge.
• The temperature is below 0°C, and there is a risk of snow and icing on the walkways.
• There is a thunderstorm with a risk of lightning.

Dress for the weather and turn up for your walk – if your walk is cancelled, you will get a refund.

Unfortunately, other expenses related to accommodation and transport to and from the Welcome Centre will not be reimbursed. If a guest cancels the walk, the ticket will not be refunded.

Yes – as long as the child is over 140 cm tall.

If you can manage a 2.5 km walk at 60 metres with many steps along the way, age is no obstacle.

You should not try Bridgewalking if you have a fear of heights. If you are just excited and a little nervous, that’s no problem. Our knowledgeable guides will help you. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Yes. If they are not more than 23 weeks pregnant.

We offer walks in Danish, English and German.

From 1 March to 31 October there are English and German walks weekly (please see the flag on the walk).

From 1 November to 30 April, we will be happy to arrange walks for you in English and German. Please contact us directly to request an English or German walk during this period.

For safety reasons, it is not allowed to bring objects on the bridge – not even a phone, camera, etc. The guides will take photos with the iPhone they carry if it is necessary to call for help. Unfortunately, the photos are not always good due to weather, lighting conditions, etc.

We cannot guarantee that there will be photos from all walks, nor can we guarantee that all guests will be photographed. The guide’s main job is to act as a guide on the bridge and ensure safety.

If there are photos from your walk, you can download them for free from our website.

Yes, you can wear sunglasses, but they must stay on your nose! It is a good idea to have a strap, so they don’t fall off your head. You can bring a strap with you or buy one in our Welcome Centre for DKK 10.

You are not allowed to bring items on the bridge – if you need asthma medicine, glucose or similar, ask your guide, who may be able to bring it for you. If in doubt, contact us.

Wear comfortable shoes that are firmly attached to your feet – preferably with a rubber sole.

Smaller effects can be stored in a safety box. We kindly ask you to leave bags and rucksacks in your car.

The walk takes about 2 hours, including the safety briefing.

No. Unfortunately, this is not possible.

The Bridgewalking Welcome Centre is at Galsklintvej 2, DK-5500 Middelfart. If you have a ticket, continue past the Welcome Centre 100 metres up the path to a canopy where you will meet your guide. Arrive in good time – preferably 10 minutes before the start of the walk.

We recommend that you wear comfortable clothes that are appropriate for the season, and also footwear that is firmly attached to your feet – preferably with rubber soles.

If in rare cases, the walk is cancelled, you will be notified by text or email. Your ticket will, of course, be refunded.

No, it’s the same price online and in the Welcome Centre. We recommend that you buy your ticket online to ensure you get a place on the walk you want.
